David is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with extensive experience of period and listed buildings and excellent project management skills gained in his role as a team leader at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and through working in private practice.

His specialisation within Brace Oakley is to provide advice on the conservation of properties and generate feasibility studies as well as schedules for repair, extension and alteration of historic and listed buildings. He has recently undertaken a Masters Course on Timber Framed Buildings.

Also as a Scientific Officer within the London based Building Sciences Group, David gained valuable expertise in the evaluation of defects in existing buildings and perhaps more importantly provided clients with practical solutions.
